Title:
lightdm crashed with SIGSEGV in _int_realloc()
Status in lightdm package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
I got this problem after reboot. First I got the login screen but now
place to type my password (the shaded area had not got an input
field). I also tried the lightdm service to stop and start, but stop
reported unknown instance. I had to kill process X "by hand" to
recover.
