Cannot use accents in xenial
Status in xorg package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
I have configured my keyboard to use "es" and "ca" variant, but when I
try to type an accent, it don't wait for the letter, i it prints the
accent (pe "`a ´e").
I have and asus laptop and tried most configurations I found around
the ubuntu forums.
