Public bug reported:
4K monitor is not properly detected.
using xfce desktop "Display" utility, my monitor is detected as
"Goldstar Company Ltd 27" with a resolution of 3840x2160 and 60.0Hz
The actual monitor is an LG 31MU97-B Black 31" with a resolution of
4096x2160.
I'm pretty sure the Monitor's resolution was properly detected in 15.10
(4096x2160). It was called "Goldstar Company Ltd" but
I do not recall which size was detected. (27" or 31")
I remember seeing a 4K youtube video in 15.10 and noting the black bands
on each side of the display, due to the difference between 3840 and
4096.
