  check_gl_texture_size crashed with SIGSEGV in start_thread()

Status in virtualbox package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  The system was upgraded from 14.04 to 16.04. There were no glitches
  during the upgrade process. After the reboot, Unity automatically
  defined the problem (warning dialog-box), followed with an automatic
  direction to the Launchpad.net url for writing down this information.
