Installation works, but there is no "incomplete language support" note. I did get an update-notifier note about "record your encryption passphrase" though, so update-notifier itself seems to be working. /var/lib/update-notifier/ has no corresponding file, it just had an user.d/<something ecryptfs>.note at the first login (and that did get shown).
