Title: Welcoming sound on login screen - feature request Status in Ubuntu GNOME: New Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I think that like in Unity and other OSs, it would be good in GNOME if there was at least an optional feature (probably on by default though) to have a sort of welcoming sound when one reaches the login screen, or when one logs in and reaches the desktop.
