Title:
Basic OpenGL+X11 build on a 32 bits system craches X11 when ruing on a
  64 bits system

Status in xorg package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
A customer of us has report that our application www.caniviz.com
crashes when working on a Ubunty 12.05 LTS machine...

After investigation, we found that every OpenGL applications build in
32 bits seems to crash X11 when running on a 64 bits host; crashing
X11 means that the session of the user that has run the opengl
  application is killed.

The next program can be found at
  http://www.opengl.org/wiki/Tutorial:_OpenGL_3.0_Context_Creation_(GLX).
The build instructions are also in the link...

  We have tries with Ubuntu 13.04 32 and 64bits and 12.05 32 and 64bits:
every time the 32 bits application is run in a 64 bits, there is the
  crash...
