Title:
Xorg freeze black screen unable to boot
Status in xorg package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Installing the tested recommended driver and rebooting leaves a black
screen. To revert back I have to hard reboot and remove quiet and no
splash from grub. From there I had to TTY and sudo purge nvidia* -y
to have a bootable system.
