Title:
Volume level is not maintained per device

Status in Canonical System Image:
  Confirmed
Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
If I'm not mistaken this issue was not present before OTA-10. I
usually like to keep the volume at around 80% on speaker and around
50% on earphones. Previously the device used to remember these choices
and adjust them accordingly. But now it only remembers the previously
set volume level and hence I have to adjust manually all the time
  while switching output devices.
