If so, how does one permanently prevent the unity-greeter-daemon scaling to account for HiDPI? I have the following set:
Unity Tweak Tools->Fonts-> "Text Scaling Factor" has been set to 1.00 System Settings->Displays->"Scale for menu and title bars" has been set to 1 Note, that this "scaling" effect does not occur after the first instance (immediately after booting up).
