This does not affect the latest version of LibreOffice available in
Oneiric, as the find dialog has been replaced with a find bar on the
bottom, which correctly hides when the formula is selected and the
Escape key is pressed.

  Find dialog won't close when formula is selected in writer

Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  create a formula, press ESC. the formula should still be selected.
  press CTL_F. try closing the find dialog.

  plainly selecting formula and opening find dialog doesn't do this.
  perhaps it's an intermittent bug.
