Network Manager does not automatically connect to VPN after login. Manually selecting the VPN connection from Network Manager in the system tray after login results in normal connection. Changing "password-flags=1" to "password-flags=0" in the VPN configuration file in /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections, Network- Manager adds "password=XXXX" to that configuration file where XXXX is VPN connection password in plain text. This change allow Network Manager to connect to VPN automatically after user login. Having to store VPN password in plain text in order for Network Manager to automatically connect is not secure. It appears Network Manager cannot obtain VPN password from Seahorse after user login.
