Hope this will help... On KDE4.6.5 Kubuntu 11.04, I get the same error for a while now. Just found that this happens to me if SystemSettings->AppAppearance->GTK+Appearance->Widget style = oxygen-gtk Also, all gtk apps will start with this error but run fine.
