Empathy doesn't work with wvdial

Ubuntu 9.10
Empathy 2.28.1
So, i have 3g modem and sometimes use Network connection through modem.
If i connect to network using default network manager, then Empathy works
fine, but if I connect through Wvdial in terminal - then Empathy doesn't
connect to icq server and doesn't show any errors.
