Bug description:
I was working on another machine via Synergy and the Ubuntu machine I
use as the host seemed to spin up the hard drive and flicker a few
windows then presented a problem prompt. The suggested other bugs
included things like #1507559 and #1306436 which also seemed to
spontaneously fall down.
