Public bug reported:
Hello,
I use Ubuntu 16.04 LTS with latest updates.
When I boot my Laptop (Dell latitude 7470 + Dell E-Port Plus II docking
station) with two external Dell screens attached (via Display port, each
separate connected) at the beginning of my session everything works
fine.
After starting Firefox Webbrowser the focus of the mouse is some how
lost. Then for example it is not possible to open the context menu of
the Firefox or typed letters appear on the other screen.
I found a workaround to have a working setup. I boot the laptop at the
beginning with only one attached screen (cable disconnected). After
login I attach the second screen and open the "Displays" configuration
menu and click on something without changing the configuration. After a
few seconds the second screen appears and everything works fine.
Sadly the focus is also lost when I remove the Laptop from the
dockingstation and attach it back to the docking station. The focus
works always fine when only the build in display is used.
Regards,
Michael
