Looks like 1.4.14 has been packaged in Debian, but it will probably need
a merge since the Ubuntu package includes some additional patches.

  This is a new bugfix release of ModemManager.

  Among other things fixed:

   * Core: improved several AT response parsers (+CREG, +CGDCONT, +CPMS...).
   * Core: explicitly disconnect bearer before removing it.
   * 3GPP: allow LAC/CID updates while registering.
   * QMI: don't assume LAC/CID updates are always given in system indications.
   * QMI: don't add APN auth settings if user/pass not given.
   * QMI: load SIM operator id and name with "NAS home network"
   * QMI: power-cycle reset functionality implemented.
   * Telit: added udev rules for Telite LE910 V2.
   * Telit: implemented modem reset & power down.
   * Telit: implemented unlock retries loading.
   * Telit: implemented supported/current bands loading/setting.
   * Telit: implemented supported/current modes loading/setting.
   * Blacklist: ignored proxmark3.
   * and some other minor fixes...
