Public bug reported:
When I enabled ibus as the default input method, xfce4-terminal frequently
crashes when I open it. I'm using Xubuntu 16.04 LTS, installed using the
package xubuntu-core. The specific method that I used to enabled ibus is by
modifying a few lines in a config file. However, as it's been more than a month
and I have moved on to fcitx since then (fcitx worked fine with xfce4-terminal,
btw), I don't remember the specific config file. I only remember that when I
uninstalled ibus, if I opened xfce4-terminal, the terminal kept notifying me
that
"The program 'ibus' is currently not installed. You can install it by typing:
sudo apt install ibus".
These 2 lines are printed before the line consists of my username and
computer's name. It only stopped notifying that after I have reverted the
changes in the config file.
