Public bug reported:
On my usb removable drive I created two partitions:
$ sudo fdisk -l /dev/sdb
Disk /dev/sdb: 15.8 GB, 15804137472 bytes
64 heads, 32 sectors/track, 15072 cylinders, total 30867456 sectors
Units = sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
Disk identifier: 0x000f38c6
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sdb1 2048 4196351 2097152 b W95 FAT32
/dev/sdb2 4196352 30867455 13335552 83 Linux
If I insert the drive, both partitions are automatically mounted (as
they should), but only the FAT32 partition gets mounted with gid and uid
of my user, the Ext4 partition is mounted for root:
$ mount
[...]
/dev/sdb1 on /media/moi/MOI-A type vfat
(rw,nosuid,nodev,uid=1000,gid=1000,shortname=mixed,dmask=0077,utf8=1,showexec,flush,uhelper=udisks2)
/dev/sdb2 on /media/moi/moi-b type ext4 (rw,nosuid,nodev,uhelper=udisks2)
I expect that both partitions are mounted for my user
(uid=1000,gid=1000).
