Title:
Synaptics trackpad doesn't have INPUT_PROP_BUTTONPAD set, even though
  it should

Status in xserver-xorg-input-synaptics package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
INPUT_PROP_BUTTONPAD should be set to indicate that my trackpad is a
clickpad, but it is not. The problem can be worked around by tweaking
the X.org configuration in the following way:

In X.org I use the following configuration in:
  /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-synaptics.conf

  Section "InputClass"
          Identifier "touchpad catchall"
          Driver "synaptics"
          MatchIsTouchpad "on"
        Option "ClickPad" "true"
        [..]

  EndSection

However, as Wayland's libinput does not have this option I run into issues.
For example right click doesn't work, or drag and drop with pressing with one
finger and moving with another.

The trackpad should be automatically recognized as a clickpad.
