Public bug reported:

I have tested the following command on Ubuntu 14.04 and 16.04 LTS.

$ gnome-screensaver-command -a && gnome-screensaver-command -q

Output: "The screensaver is inactive"
Expected: "The screensaver is active"

Possible error?
