I solved to problem by changing my sound card option in the BIOS. There
I find my front panel is using 'HD'. I change it to 'AC97' and after
rebooting everything goes fine.

  16.04

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
After upgrading from Ubuntu 14.04 to 16.04, I lost the sound of
headset on the front panel. However the back panel works well.

  The sound cards I have:
   0 [HDMI ]: HDA-Intel - HDA ATI HDMI
HDA ATI HDMI at 0xfeb44000 irq 42
   1 [Generic ]: HDA-Intel - HD-Audio Generic
                        HD-Audio Generic at 0xfeb40000 irq 16

The output table in the 'SOUND' setting window:
Play sound through: Digital Output (S/PDIF) Built-in Audio

In 'Test Sound' I can not hear anything.

I am sure that the 'Mute' box is unchecked.
