Title:
Exec line in gnome-mines .desktop file needs complete path
Status in gnome-mines package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
When installed the gnome-mines package creates a desktop file at
/usr/share/applications/gnomine.desktop. That file contains the
following line:
Exec=gnome-mines
Since that binary is in /usr/games, and most users do not have
/usr/games in their path, clicking a menu item that uses that desktop
file fails. The simple solution is to use the full path name in the
Exec line.
/usr/share/app-install/desktop/gnome-mines:gnomine.desktop which is
installed by app-install-data has this same problem.
