Title:
No multitouch on Lenovo Thinkpad E431 synaptics touchpad
Status in xserver-xorg-input-synaptics package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
I understand that this may be a newer Synaptics touchpad which doesn't
have published docs to make this work right. Being that the "Synaptics
Capabilities" line of xinput --list-props doesn't match the one in:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingTouchpadDetection
I decided to file this report in the hopes it is a minor change to get
Multitouch working.
This system has a big "clickpad" and no separate buttons. This
notebook also has a trackpoint device (nub joystick).
