Title:
problems with my multifunction Samsung CLX3185
Status in sane-backends package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Config :
Dell XPS 15z with Ubuntu Precise
Samsung multifunction connected on a Livebox router.
Until my upgrade to Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, I had no problem to print via the
domestic network and to scan via USB 2. I used a Toshiba satellite A200 instead
of my brand new Dell.
The first problem I encountered was to print via the network. Thank to Till
Kampetter aindnd his alien version of cups, I am now able to print via USB or
via the network.
However, I am totally unable to scan via USB. "sane-find-scanner" finds my
scanner. However, I am unable to scan. Maybe a problem with USB 3.0 ? I never
really succeded to scan via the network and I think it is a problem related to
my Livebox.
Thanks for the attention
Sincerely yours
