Meant leading "spaces" per title... not leading "zeros"
-- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to remmina in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1621077 Title: No connect error if leading space in hostname Status in remmina package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: remmina 1.0.0-4ubuntu3 amd64 remmina-common 1.0.0-4ubuntu3 all remmina-plugin-rdp 1.0.0-4ubuntu3 amd64 remmina-plugin-vnc 1.0.0-4ubuntu3 amd64 Ubuntu 14.04.5 Desktop LTS Connection to " hostname.domain.com" gives error " unable to connect to RDP server hostname.domain.com", but doesn't appear to do DNS lookup or similar (per tcpdump). Suggest leading zeroes need stripped or flagged to user. Only found by copy/paste of the hostname from an email which happened to pick up the leading space. Removing leading space shows a DNS lookup in tcpdump and everything connects as expected.
