Public bug reported:
I clicked on the WiFi connection applet, selected an access point,
entered in a password that contained a comma, clicked Connect, then
nothing happened. There was no error or attempt to connect. When trying
to connect again, the previous password with a comma was not saved.
However, incorrect password attempts that don't contain a comma are
saved. The applet is nm-applet.
When using nm-connection-editor, I can save the password that contains a
comma. The next time I try to connect with the applet, the connection
succeeds without prompting for a password.
The problem is that I can't use the applet to enter in the password with
a comma. I must use the connection editor.
This was on Lubuntu. The WiFi access point was 2.4 GHz and used a WPA
ASCII password that contains a comma.
