Title:
Evince automatically decides file is a TeX file regardless of
extension
Status in “evince” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Binary package hint: evince
Ubuntu: 11.04
Evince: 2.32.0-0ubuntu12.1
Situation: Viewing a .cbz archive in Evince.
Problem: I am compressing many image files into a .cbz file. If any of the
image filenames have the word 'chapter' delimited by anything
e.g. 'chapter', 'this_chapter', 'this.is.a.chapter.test',
'another.chapter_test',
Evince automatically assumes the image is actually a TeX document, and throws
an error: "File type TeX document (text/x-tex) is not supported", refusing to
view/open the archive.
