Public bug reported: When one edits a connection with incomplete information, the button "Save" is greyed out.
However, there is no way to know what the missing information is. The messages about incorrect or missing items is given on the standard output. I suggest that they are shown on the UI directly instead. ** Affects: network-manager-applet (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to network-manager-applet in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1631093 Title: nm-connection-editor should show imessages about incorrect connections in UI not in standard output Status in network-manager-applet package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: When one edits a connection with incomplete information, the button "Save" is greyed out.
