had to use virtual box to get a screengrab.
16.04 is on the left, and has the correct spacing and spacer, looks great...
16.10 is on the right, the text has been squished up to close, and the spacer 
is ugly....

This same issue is throughout on the native style menu's... Most
noticeably in nautilus...

  as of 16.10 the dividers in the nautilus right click menu (and also
  else where on ubuntu) are very deep and overbearing. They were lovely
  in 16.04 and have no clue why this graphic was changed...
