NM does not offer VPN options
Status in network-manager package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
network-manager-pptp is installed, but when I select "Configure VPN"
NM offers only Hardware and Virtual options, no VPN options.,
Observed on two Lubuntu 16.04 and one LXLE 16.04 system; everything
works as expected on Lubuntu 14.04.
