I agree, this is vital. There's no suggestion on GNOME bugzilla that baobab has been so hobbled on other distros. Here is a screenshot (though old) of what the rest of the world sees, as far as I can tell, which has a drop-down menu to show the right column view:
http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/how-to-analyze-your-disk-usage-pattern-in- linux I don't see how it would be in anyone's interest to disable people's ability to dismiss the right-hand graphical pane. I cannot get any information on the left side, or even any full directory names, unless my screen is at least 1800 pixels wide (not an option for many people). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to baobab in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1175820 Title: allow to view with disabled treemap Status in baobab package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: I need a analysis result without the graphic on the right part of the screen, That graphic occupies 1/2 part of the window. Thus it does not allow me to decend into 4th level diretories. Please add a possibility to disable the graphical window.
