It happens both in unity and unity-2d. Worked fine in ubuntu 11.04 and it also works fine in kubuntu 11.10 (though kubuntu really does not have the same kind of launcher as unity of course).

"ctrl+alt+e" launches "soffice Documents/mydoc.ods" then it most of the times does not go to the launcher (no icon) and therefore also is not in the alt-tab list so I can't alt-tab to the application. On my faster machine it does never show and on my slower machine it sometimes show. A bit hard to reprocude since it behaves kind of different. This seems only true for libreoffice (or maybe java apps in common?)
