This bug also affects me. Hardware : notebook Asus Eeepc 1005PE The mouse clicks are disabled if I click just once in the upper bar of the login screen.
They are *not* disabled if I click on the icons on the upper right (battery, date, speaker, ...) Restarting the lightdm service in a terminal (ctrl-alt-f1, then login, then sudo service lightdm restart) makes the mouse clicks respond again. Note also that no sound is produced on the lightdm login screen, as opposed to when I start gdm -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to lightdm in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/816700 Title: Mouse click disabled after clicking on the top panel Status in Light Display Manager: Triaged Status in “lightdm” package in Ubuntu: Triaged Status in “lightdm” source package in Oneiric: Triaged Bug description: TEST CASE: 1.
