Title:
Iniital mouse cursor selection is reversed in message composer

Status in Evolution:
  Expired
Status in evolution package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: evolution

The problem is the following use case:
  1. Make sure that under Settings->Composer Preferences->General, "start
typing at the bottom on replying" is checked (I think its the default).
  2. Start a reply to an e-mail
  3. The text cursor will be positioned after the quoted text and before the
signature.
  4. If I then want to select all the text from the bottom of the quoted text
up to somewhere in the middle of the quoted text (for example, if I want to
select and remove the other person's signature), I would normally hold down
SHIFT and click above the text cursor where I want the selection to start (i.e.
the top-left most part of the text selection area - the bottom-right most part
of the text selection area will be the current text cursor position).

  Expected result:
The bottom part of the quoted text, up to where the mouse was clicked, will
be selected.

  Actual result:
The top part of the quoted text, down to where the mouse was clicked, is
selected.

This is even though the text cursor can be plainly seen at the bottom
of the quoted text (even scrolled down there if the quoted text is
very long) and if I simply start typing, the text appears at the
bottom of the text. If I move the text cursor anywhere, even just one
row up or down or simply type a space, then the selection as I
described previously works - there is only a problem if I didn't move
the cursor because I assume that the fact that it is shown at the
bottom of the quoted text then it is actually there.

This is on current Lucid Alpha with Evolution 2.28.3
