Strange. Fix released and it crashes for me hitting ENTER at the login prompt (running 11.10)
I added vt=7 to /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf as below [SeatDefaults] greeter-session=unity-greeter user-session=ubuntu vt=7 and it stops crashing when hitting ENTER at the login promtpt. Nice! First question: Fix Released, but what is acctually fixed? Second question: it crashes if I start a terminal and press ENTER.
