internal speakers do not mute if in dockingstation

Bug description:
Hello,
I have got a problem with my "Thinkpad T400s" and the "ThinkPad Mini Dock
Series 3" docking station.
Everytime I attach the nookbook to the dock (there are speakers connected)
the internal speakers do not mute.
Currently I do just plugin the speakers to the headphone output. But this is
not what I want to do using a dock.
The operating system is Ubuntu Lucid Beta1 with all updates.

In other Bugs I found the hint to put the following into the
/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf:
options snd-hda-intel model=laptop
But for me this does not work.
