** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: simple-scan

- when I use windows xp the my scanner canon works well when I'm connected at
ubuntu "simple scan" tells me first "there is no scanner- chek that the scanner
is turned on".
- when I push "acquire" I read:"no scanner available, connect a scanner"
+ Simple Scan notes:
+ "there is no scanner- check that the scanner is turned on"
+
+ After pushing the "acquire" button it notes:
+ "no scanner available, connect a scanner"
+
+ Works fine in Windows XP.
+
+ As per the SANE project, this device has minimal support via experimental CVS:
+
+ However, the experimental CVS wasn't transferred over when they moved from
CVS to git. A copy of the experimental files are found at:
+
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sane-backends/+bug/738302/+attachment/4803236/+files/cs3200f.tar.gz
