Title:
Can't type to select folder in Nautilus

Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
when in ubuntu 11.10 beta I opened nautilus clicked in the main window and
typed the first letters of folder 1 name until it highlighted it, then pressed
"enter" which opened the folder, but inside folder 2 I cannot keep typing to
search for the next folder name. It seems to inhibit typing, until I click
anywhere in the main window again, then type folder 2, press enter, then I
cannot type anything to search for folder 3 and so on.
In ubuntu 11.04 I open nautilus and just begin to type because I know the
specific folder names I going to - for example: Open nautilus, type k-e-, and
highlights "Kevin", press enter, It opens Kevin folder. Then type b-i-l- and it
hightlights "bills" folder, press enter and it opens. This is not happening in
nautilus 3 of ubuntu 11.10 beta.
