possible race condition in avahi service discovery in net backend
Status in sane-backends package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
Two different scanners in the network, one configured in
/etc/sane.d/net.conf, one - announced via avahi.
When running scanimage -l from command line - only first discovered/
When running SANE_DEBUG_NET=128 scanimage -L - sometimes only first
discovered, sometimes - both.
