Public bug reported:

Using canon LIDE 220 scanner via sane and as frontend libreoffice works in
principle. However, the resolution is always the lowest one (75dpi). The
resolution cannot be altered by the frontend.
Effectivly the scanner cannot be used with this frontend. Other frontends
(scanimage, xsane, ...) work perfectly.

I know, may be libreoffice fails not the backend, however, the frontend
libreoffice works perfectly with e.g. the Epson 1640SU (backend epson2).
