  libcheese-gtk23 dependency issue

Bug description:
  I was trying to compile xserver, for which I needed to install libgl1
  -mesa-dri, but trying to install gives following errors:

  The following packages have unmet dependencies:
   gnome-control-center : Depends: libcheese-gtk23 (>= 3.4.0) but it is not 
going to be installed
                          Depends: libcheese7 (>= 3.0.1) but it is not going to 
be installed
   libgl1-mesa-dev : Depends: libgl1-mesa-glx (= 10.1.3-0ubuntu0.6) or
                              libgl1-mesa-glx-lts-utopic but it is not going to 
be installed or
                              libgl1-mesa-glx-lts-vivid but it is not going to 
be installed or
                              libgl1-mesa-glx-lts-wily but it is not going to 
be installed or
                              libgl1-mesa-glx-lts-xenial but it is not going to 
be installed
   unity-control-center : Depends: libcheese-gtk23 (>= 3.4.0) but it is not 
going to be installed
                          Depends: libcheese7 (>= 3.0.1) but it is not going to 
be installed
   xorg : Depends: xserver-xorg (>= 1:7.7+1ubuntu8.1) or
                   xserver-xorg-renamed
  E: Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by 
held packages.

  while checking libcheese-gtk23 package gives:
  Version: 3.10.2-0ubuntu2
  and for libcheese7:
  Version: 3.10.2-0ubuntu2
