Bug description:
  ubuntu 17.04 unity8
  [unity8] qt/gtk apps don't quite work in fullscreen/tablet mode

turn desktop mode off, and now launch random apps and see how it
  behave

kate, the icon bar don't quite works, try to hover or click on the new
document, open etc icons. only works on the buttom side of the icons,
probably the hitboxes or something are wrong, same with tiled. some
gtk apps don't even resize to fullscreen (gnome-mines), and if you
click on the menu icon the apps just crash etc
