That's probably because that setting is not necessary per impression,
but per printer. So configuring the margins in Systems Settings would be
enough.

On the other hand in Windows configuring the margins in the Control
Panel is hard if not impossible, so that's why the setting is included
appart in that platform.

Anyway, if you find this explanation is wrong, you can set status back
to "confirmed".
