Title:
Software app only shows explicitly compatible GNOME Shell extensions

Bug description:
Only gnome-shell extensions explicitly marked as compatible with the
running gnome-shell version are shown in the Addons category in gnome-
  software.

This is a problem when a beta version of gnome- shell is packaged.

It's a problem when a new gnome-shell version is first released
because it takes time for developers to test the extension and mark it
as compatible. It's also a problem because gnome-software only checks
for extension updates every 7 days.

Some extensions still work but haven't been updated in a very long
  time.

  at GNOME bug 776460

  Original Bug Report
  -------------------
Update: This behavior was because gnome-shell was a 3.23 development snapshot
and no extensions at extensions.gnome.org were marked as being explicitly
compatible with that version.

GNOME Software 3.22 includes a plugin to show GNOME Shell extensions
  when GNOME Shell is running.

On the home page, click Add-Ons.

Except that the Add-Ons button is not showing up here.

  gnome-software 3.22.6-0ubuntu1
  Ubuntu GNOME 17.04 Beta
