unity-control-center crashed when setting custom-date-time

Bug description:
When one sets a custom date-time string via GLib-2.0 schemas, unity-
control-center crashes when one opens the "time"-tab.
Setting a custom date-time string is not standard behavior, which may
invalidate this bugreport. However, this means setting this custom
date-time string (to work around i18n issues with the date being
displayed incorrectly btw.) means one cannot change the time anymore
via the GUI.
