The HTTP REST API logic should be only implemented once and that in snapd-glib. See https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome- software/tree/plugins/snap/gs-snapd.c Tested with latest gnome-software from https://git.gnome.org/browse /gnome-software/ on Ubuntu 17.04 against snapd 2.23.6 This blocks enablement of snap support in gnome-software on Fedora.
