Bug description:
  Binary package hint: openoffice.org

  Summary:
Certain formatting combinations are not saved/restored properly using the
OpenDocument Text (Flat) file format. Specifically, extra spaces may be
inserted into URLs. Saving in the standard OpenDocument Text file format works
as expected.

  Steps to reproduce:

  Create a new text document.
Type [www.example.com] (without the brackets, though it probably doesn't
matter).
Highlight all text and insert a hyperlink to (Web) www.example.com.
Highlight [exam] and change the text color to Light Cyan.
  Save as link-1.odt.
Save as link-2.fodt (using OpenDocument Text (Flat) format).
  Close the file.
Open link-2.odt. Note the undesired spaces inserted into the URL around
[exam].
Open link-1.odt. Note the text appears exactly as it was.

This was found on a fully up-to-date Intrepid Ibex system. OOo Help/About
reports the following:
  openoffice.org-core 1:2.4.1-11ubuntu2.1, Thu Nov 20 10:16:29 UTC 2008
