Same version on another computer works fine as expected.
However, after system restart this is functioning. Marking as closed,
still curious to know what was causing the issue.

Bug description:
Google profile sync doesn't work anymore since last updated done
yesterday, from 53.0.2785.143 to 58.0.3029.110 (Ubuntu 14.04)
Mostly affected/noticed functionality is 'Passwords', which neither
pulls the password from Google Passwords nor does import!
Tried resetting Google Sync from Google dashboard, but it didn't work.
Every time I open Chromium it throws the alert that profile sync has
issue.
How can we overcome this issue? Let me know if more info required.
