I am also facing this behavior. - List view - Clicking a File or Folder - Choosing Rename either from Menu or by pressing F2 makes no difference - Typing exits the rename mode,and the search box on the down right pops up containing the typed character
Additional observation: -Trying to rename a file/folder which is *not* on top of the list and then typing "d" does not exit edit mode immediately, instead the file at the top of the list view is suddenly selected and in edit mode.
